The National Weather Service in Bismarck has issued a high wind
watch... which is in effect from Tuesday morning through Tuesday
evening.

* Timing... Tuesday morning into Tuesday evening.

* Winds... west winds with gusts to around 60 mph.

* Impacts... travel may become hazardous.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A high wind watch means there is the potential for a hazardous
high wind event. Sustained winds of at least 40 mph... or gusts of
58 mph or stronger may occur. Continue to monitor the latest

northwestern Burleigh... Oliver... southwestern Sheridan... McLean and
northeastern Mercer counties...

At 1059 PM CDT... Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from near Douglas to fort
Stevenson State Park to 7 miles north of lake Harmon... and moving
northeast at 30 mph.

Wind gusts up to 55 mph will be possible with these storms.
