McHenry... Pierce... Renville... Rolette and Ward. In northwest
North Dakota... Burke... Divide... McKenzie... Mountrail and
Williams. In south central North Dakota... Burleigh... Emmons...
Grant... Kidder... McLean... Mercer... Morton... Oliver...
Sheridan... Sioux and Wells. In southeast North Dakota...
Dickey... Foster... La Moure... Logan... McIntosh and Stutsman. In
southwest North Dakota... Adams... Billings... Bowman... Dunn...
Golden Valley... Hettinger... slope and Stark.

* Through Monday night.

* Additional one half to three quarters of an inch of rainfall.

* Many areas in the watch have already received two to four
inches of rainfall during the past three days.

* Overland flooding of County and township roads are possible... in
addition to water entering basements from saturated soils.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Flood Watch means there is a potential for flooding. Monitor
forecasts and be alert for possible flood warnings. Those living
in areas prone to flooding should be prepared to move to higher
ground should flooding develop.

Flood Watch for all of western and central North Dakota through
Tuesday morning. An additional one to one and a half inches of
rain is possible on top of what has already fallen across the area
since Thursday. Minor overland flooding is possible in addition to
river and stream rises.

Flood warnings are in effect for these areas...

In the Souris river basin...

For the Souris river near Towner... minor flooding is forecast.

For the Souris river near Bantry... minor flooding is occurring.

For the Souris river near Westhope... moderate flooding through
the week.

In the James River basin...

For the Pipestem creek near Pingree... minor flooding is expected
by Tuesday.
