Flood Warning
Statement as of 4:18 AM EST on November 12, 2009
The Flood Warning continues for
the French Broad River at Blantyre.
* At 3:30 am Thursday the stage was 17.6 feet.
* Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
* Forecast... the river appears to be near its forecast crest of
17.7 feet. The river at Blantyre will fall below the flood
stage of 16 feet early this afternoon.
* At 18.0 feet... secondary roads along the river and farmland will be
flooded. River Road will be under water..
