Statement as of 11:47 PM EDT on April 20, 2015

... A Severe Thunderstorm Warning remains in effect until 1215 am EDT
for southern Vance... southern Granville... North central wake and
Durham counties...

At 1145 PM EDT... Doppler radar indicated a line of severe
thunderstorms capable of producing quarter size hail and damaging
winds in excess of 58 mph. These storms were located along a line
extending from near Creedmoor to Butner to 6 miles northeast of
Durham... moving east at 30 mph.

Locations impacted include...
Durham... Henderson... Oxford... Creedmoor... Butner... Kittrell... Stem...
Lake Butner... South Henderson and Lake Michie.
