Scattered showers and thunderstorms will develop and move northeast across southeast North Carolina from near Longwood to near Elizabethtown eastward through 130 PM. Rainfall amounts around a quarter to a half inch are possible. Thunderstorms may also produce gusty winds of 25 to 30 mph...small hail...and frequent cloud to ground lightning.
