Dense Fog Advisory
Statement as of 4:58 AM EST on November 16, 2009
... Dense fog advisory remains in effect until 9 am EST this
morning...
A dense fog advisory remains in effect until 9 am EST this
morning.
Fog will limit visibility to a quarter mile or less through mid
morning. The dense fog will be prevalent east of Highway 1.
Visibilities should be lowest in the rural Countryside and near
bodies of water... where visibilities may reduce to near zero or a
few tens of yards. The fog is expected to lift gradually by mid
morning.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
A dense fog advisory means visibilities will frequently be
reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving... slow down...
use your low beam headlights... and leave plenty of distance ahead
of you. Consider leaving early for school or work due to possible
travel delays caused by the fog.
