areas... Mainland Dare... Mainland Hyde... Tyrrell and Washington.
* Until 4 PM EST this afternoon
* widespread rain will continue this morning as low pressure moves
slowly northeast along the coast. Additional rainfall amounts 2
to 3 inches are expected into the afternoon... with the highest
amounts near the coast. This additional rain on top of the 3 to 6
inches that has already fallen will lead to significant
runoff... with flooding of low lying and poor drainage areas
continuing to be possible.
