extended for
the Roanoke River near Williamston.
* Until Tuesday evening... or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 8 am Saturday the stage was 10.5 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 10.0 feet.
* Forecast... the river will continue to fall to below flood stage by
Tuesday morning.
* Impact... at 11.0 feet... low land flooding adjacent to the river can
be expected.
