the Haw River near Bynum.
* At 9:15 PM Thursday the stage was 12.7 feet.
* Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... the river will continue to fall to below flood stage by
tomorrow early afternoon.
* Impact... at 11.0 feet... the river widens up to 400 feet across. It
floods pasturelands on the right bank and Woodlands on the left

Gusty winds combined with saturated soils from recent heavy
rainfall will lead to a few downed trees and scattered power
outages. Winds of 15 to 25 mph will occasionally gust to 30 to 40
