Flood Warning
Statement as of 9:06 PM EST on November 11, 2009
The Flood Warning continues for
the French Broad River at Blantyre.
* At 8:30 PM Wednesday the stage was 17.3 feet.
* Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
* Forecast... the river will continue slowly rise to near 17.7 feet by
around midnight tonight. The river will fall below flood stage
by noon on Thursday.
* At 18.0 feet... secondary roads along the river and farmland will be
flooded. River Road will be under water..
