This warning will remain in effect until the River Falls below flood stage. Fld observed forecast 7am EST location stg stg day time Wed Thu Fri Roanoke River Williamston 10 11.5 Tue 08 am 11.4 11.4 11.3 Non-forecast points 916 am EST Tue Dec 22 2009 The Flood Warning continues for the Roanoke River at Hamilton. * Until further notice... or until the warning is cancelled. * At 8 am Tuesday the stage was 17.3 feet. * Minor flooding is occuring. * Flood stage is 16.0 feet. * Forecasts are not issued for this location. This warning will remain in effect until the River Falls below flood stage. 916 am EST Tue Dec 22 2009 The Flood Warning continues for the Roanoke River near Williamston. * Until further notice... or until the warning is cancelled. * At 8 am Tuesday the stage was 11.5 feet. * Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * Flood stage is 10.0 feet. * Forecast... the river will remain near 11.4 feet. * Impact... at 12.0 feet... widespread low land flooding can be expected adjacent to the river. |
