... Freezing Rain Advisory remains in effect until noon EST
today...

* locations... the central and southern mountains... and southern
foothills and Piedmont of North Carolina... far northeast
Georgia... and most of upstate South Carolina.

* Hazards... freezing rain.

* Timing... rain will change to freezing rain as temperatures
fall below freezing. Temperatures will be most conducive to
freezing rain early this morning... but will continue until
temperatures warm above freezing. All precipitation should
change to rain by noon.

* Accumulations... up to an eighth of an inch of ice glaze.

* Impacts... hazardous travel conditions due to slick roadways.
Isolated power outages due to downed trees or power lines.

* Temperatures... lows in the upper 20s and lower 30s.

* Winds... northeast 5 to 10 mph.
