... Freezing Rain Advisory remains in effect from 4 am to 7 PM EST
* locations... the Interstate 85 corridor in the northern Piedmont
and the Highway 64 corridor in the western Piedmont... including
but not limited to wise... Henderson... Durham... Chapel HIll...
Pittsboro... Siler City... Asheboro... and Lexington.
* Timing... rain will transition to freezing rain around sunrise
and persist during the day Sunday. Precipitation will gradually
change over to rain Sunday afternoon or evening.
* Ice accumulations... a trace to one tenth of an inch of ice
accumulation will be possible... primarily on elevated surfaces.
* Impacts... light accumulations of ice will result in locally
hazardous driving conditions... especially on bridges and
overpasses. Isolated power outages will be possible.
A Freezing Rain Advisory means that periods of freezing rain or
freezing drizzle will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
patches of ice and hazardous driving conditions on area roads...

Intl Airport NC...
The minimum temperature on December 6 was 65 degrees. This ties the
record high minimum temperature for this date set back in 1912.
