A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 5 PM MST Thursday.
Periods of snow will continue to develop over the higher terrain of central Montana this evening... and then continue to Thursday afternoon. For elevations above 5000 feet... a general snow fall of 3 to 6 inches can be expected... with higher amounts possible near ridge tops. Visibilities will be reduced to less than two miles at times in areas of falling snow.
