The National Weather Service in Great Falls has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for snow... which is in effect from 5 PM this afternoon to 11 am MST Thursday.
Periods of light snow are expected to develop over southwest Montana this evening. The snowfall will continue into Thursday afternoon. By Thursday evening... expect total snow accumulations of 1 to 3 inches in the valleys... and 4 to 8 inches in the mountains.
Additionally... expect visibilities to be reduced to less than two miles at times in areas of falling snow.
