The Winter Weather Advisory for elevations below 5000 feet has been upgraded to a Winter Storm Warning. The Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 5 PM MST this afternoon.
Light to moderate snow is occurring over southwest Montana this morning and will continue through this evening. Total snow accumulations of 6 to 12 inches are expected with locally heavier snow amounts in the mountains.
Additionally... expect visibilities to be reduced to less than one mile at times in areas of falling snow.
