Snow accumulations of 4 to 6 inches are expected Thursday... with locally heavier amounts possible. Snowfall will develop as a cold front moves through the area early Thursday morning. As winds turn northerly and temperatures cool into the upper 20s during the day... snowfall is expected to intensify with periods of heavy snowfall from late morning through early Thursday evening. Snow will taper off during the evening hours Thursday.

Roadways are expected to be mainly wet or slush covered as the snowfall will be mainly during the daylight hours and Road temperatures are relatively warm at this time. However snow may begin to stick to roadways by late Thursday afternoon... so be prepared for difficult travel conditions Thursday afternoon and evening.
