Issued: 6:35 PM MST Feb. 12, 2016 – National Weather Service

... Dense fog advisory in effect until 11 PM MST this evening...

The National Weather Service in Missoula has issued a dense fog
advisory... which is in effect until 11 PM MST this evening.

* Impacts/timing: widespread dense fog has developed for the
Flathead and mission valleys and is expected to continue tonight
ahead of the approaching weather system. Expect slow travel due
to reduced visibility, especially along the US 93 corridor
through 11 PM MST.

* Visibility: 1/4 mile or less at times.

* Locations impacted include... Flathead Lake... Flathead Valley...
   Mission Valley... Polson

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A dense fog advisory means visibilities will frequently be
reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving... slow down...
use your headlights... and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
