	Winter Weather Advisory
Statement as of 8:47 PM MST on December 03, 2009 ... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 11 PM MST Friday... A Winter Weather Advisory for blowing snow remains in effect until 11 PM MST Friday. Strong gusty winds are expected to develop late tonight and continue through the day Friday. Strongest winds can be expected early Friday morning through early Friday evening... with sustained winds around 35 mph and gusts to around 50 mph... which will likely create areas of blowing snow and poor visibility. Icy patches on the roads and windchill near 20 degrees below zero will be possible... even though overnight lows will be around 10 degrees above zero tonight. Winds will begin to diminish Friday evening. Precautionary/preparedness actions... A Winter Weather Advisory can be issued for a variety of winter weather conditions such as light snow... blowing snow... sleet... freezing rain... and extreme wind chills. Be prepared for slippery roads and limited visibility... and use caution while driving.
