Periods of snow will continue over the higher terrain of central Montana through this evening. For elevations above 5000 feet... a general snow fall of 3 to 6 inches can be expected... with higher amounts possible near ridge tops. For elevations below 5000 feet... snow accumulations of 1 to 2 inches are possible. Visibilities will be reduced to less than two miles at times in areas of falling snow.
