The thunderstorm will generally remain over rural areas of west central Pondera and northwestern Teton counties. Hail up to a half inch in diameter...wind gusts to 40 mph...brief heavy rainfall and isolated lightning strikes can be expected from this storm. Take shelter from the storm in a sturdy building. Boaters on area lakes should return to shore. Remember...lightning can strike up to 15 miles from the parent thunderstorm. If you can hear thunder...you are close enough to be struck by lightning.
