Periods of snow will continue to fall across southern portions of Fergus County. The snow will intensify tonight and become widespread... continuing through Sunday night. Brisk north to northeast winds of 15 to 30 mph will cause areas of blowing snow in the mountains... and also through favored canyons and gaps. By Monday morning expect a total of 8 to 12 inches of snow accumulation at lower elevations... with 18 to 36 inches of snow likely in the mountains.
Snow will initially melt on Road surfaces but will freeze as temperatures drop below freezing overnight. This could cause dangerous driving conditions as ice forms on the roadway.
