Statement as of 8:57 PM MST on November 11, 2009 ... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 11 am MST Thursday... A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 11 am MST Thursday. Periods of light snow are will to continue to develop over southwest Montana late this evening. The snowfall will continue into Thursday afternoon. By Thursday evening... expect total snow accumulations of 1 to 3 inches in the valleys... and 4 to 8 inches in the mountains. Additionally... expect visibilities to be reduced to less than two miles at times in areas of falling snow. Precautionary/preparedness actions... A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of snow will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow covered roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while driving. For specific Road and travel conditions in Montana... dial 5 1 1.
