This line will approach west Billings by 730 PM MDT. This line of storms will produce wind gusts to 45 mph and brief moderate rain as it moves through.

At 704 PM MDT... National Weather Service Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong thunderstorm 23 miles south of Ryegate... or 26 miles north of Columbus... moving east at 35 mph.
Wind gusts up to 50 mph and brief heavy rain are expected with this storm. It appears at this time that the strongest part of the storm will stay north of Billings... but wind gusts of 45 mph are still possible on the west and north sides of town by 745 PM MDT.
