	Winter Storm Warning
Statement as of 3:58 PM MDT on October 11, 2008 ... Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 6 am MDT Monday... A Winter Storm Warning for heavy snow remains in effect until 6 am MDT Monday. Heavy snow with accumulations of 1 to 3 inches per hour is expected to develop this evening. This will result in travel quickly becoming difficult with rapid snow accumulation causing slush and snow covered roads. Downed tree limbs and power lines can be expected with power outages possible. Accumulations around a foot are expected tonight with an additional 3 to 6 inches on Sunday. A Winter Storm Warning means significant amounts of snow are expected. Gusty winds are also possible. This will make travel very hazardous or impossible.

Statement as of 11:40 am MDT on October 11, 2008 ... Record low maximum temperature set at Sheridan... a record low maximum temperature of 35 degrees was set at Sheridan, Wyoming yesterday. This breaks the old record of 36 set in 1946.
