A Winter Weather Advisory for snow and blowing snow remains in effect until 6 am MST Monday. A Wind Chill Advisory remains in effect until 6 PM MST Monday.

* Timing and main impact: snow will continue through early Monday. Travel will be difficult with reduced visibility and snow covered roads.

* Snow accumulations: total accumulations of 3 to 6 inches of snow are possible at lower elevations with 6 to 12 inches in the mountains.

* Winds and visibility: winds will create visibility less than one mile at times due to blowing snow.

* Locations affected include: Fairfield...Chester...Lewistown... Lewistown Divide...Shelby...Chinook...Big Sandy... Fort Benton...Conrad...Havre...Cut Bank.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for slippery roads and limited visibility...and use caution while driving.

A Wind Chill Advisory means that very cold air and strong winds will combine to generate low wind chills. This will result in frost bite and lead to hypothermia if precautions are not taken. If you must venture outdoors...make sure you wear a hat and gloves.
