... Winter Weather Advisory now in effect from 8 PM Monday to noon
The Winter Weather Advisory for snow and blowing snow is now in
effect from 8 PM Monday to noon MDT Tuesday.
* Timing... rain will transition to all snow on Monday evening.
Snow will continue through Tuesday morning before tapering off
in the afternoon. The period of heaviest snowfall will be
* Snow accumulation... 2 to 5 inches of snow are expected... with
greatest accumulations expected in the foothills of the Pryor
and Big Horn Mountains... Aberdeen hill... and the Lame Deer
* Wind... northwest winds will gust 35 to 45 mph.
* Impacts... heavy snow and blowing snow will make travel
hazardous and will pose a threat to Young livestock.
A Winter Weather Advisory can be issued for a variety of winter
weather conditions such as light snow... blowing snow... sleet...
freezing rain... and extreme wind chills.
