... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect from 11 PM this
evening to 5 am MST Tuesday...
A Winter Weather Advisory for strong winds and blowing and
drifting snow remains in effect from 11 PM this evening to 5 am
* Winds... late tonight through Monday night... west 20 to 35 mph
with gusts to 45 mph. Local gusts to 55 mph are possible near
* Blowing and drifting snow... developing late tonight and
becoming widespread Monday and Monday night. Visibilities will
be drastically reduced in open country. Brief whiteout
conditions are possible.
* Impacts... travel will be difficult due to strong winds and
reduced visibilities. Strong cross winds will impact travel on
Highway 191 through Harlowton and Judith Gap... and Highway 3
If traveling tonight through Monday night... check the latest Road
reports before leaving... let others know of your plans... and use
extra caution while driving.

A record low temperature of -29 degrees was set at Miles City this
morning. This breaks the old record of -28 set in 1977.
