...Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 11 PM MST this evening...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow remains in effect until 11 PM MST this evening.

* Timing and main impact: light snow will affect areas of north central Montana through the evening hours tonight.

* Snow accumulations: snow accumulations of 1 to 3 inches are expected over the plains...with 2 to 4 inches in the mountains.

* Other impacts: snow-covered roads could cause hazardous driving conditions as temperatures fall during the day Saturday. Areas of blowing snow will reduce visibilities at times.

* Locations affected include: Chinook...Havre...Big Sandy... Fort Benton.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of snow will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow covered roads and limited visibilities...and use caution while driving.
