With a moist and unstable airmass over the area...coupled with daytime heating...a few showers were beginning to pop up while drifting southwest across portions of southwest and southeast Mississippi. Through 2 PM...the development of a few showers...along with an isolated thunderstorm or two...will continue to be possible across these areas. Occasional lightening strikes...gusty winds... and brief heavy rain will accompany the thunderstorms that do develop. Rainfall amounts with any activity will remain less than a tenth of an inch.
