The National Weather Service in Jackson has expanded the

* Flash Flood Watch to include portions of northeast Louisiana
and Mississippi... including the following areas... in northeast
Louisiana... East Carroll... Franklin... Madison... Morehouse...
Richland... Tensas and West Carroll. In Mississippi...
Claiborne... Hinds... Issaquena... Madison... Sharkey... Warren and
Yazoo.

* Until 7 PM CDT this evening

* showers and thunderstorms with heavy rainfall are expected
today... especially through the early afternoon. Rainfall
accumulations of 2 to 3 inches are possible in a short period of
time with locally higher amounts also possible.
