A warm front surging north from the Gulf of Mexico will bring strong southerly winds to the region this afternoon and tonight. Winds will increase by midday to between 15 and 20 mph with frequent gusts of 30 to 35 mph by mid afternoon. These wind speeds will continue through tonight while a cold front pushes across the region. In the wake of the front... gusty northwest winds between 15 and 20 mph with gusts to 30 mph will impact the area on Wednesday.
