Northeast winds will increase to 15 to 20 mph through this evening and continue tonight... with gusts up to 30 mph... as Tropical Storm Ida approaches the central Gulf Coast. Expect the potential for gusty winds to persist through most of the daylight hours tomorrow as the surface pressure gradient to west of Ida remains strong.
