But showers and storms may pop up over the rest of the mid south. Rainfall amounts will be light with the showers...generally only a few hundredths of an inch and with storms or heavier showers around a quarter to half inch or more. Storms will also contain frequent lightning. A southeast movement is occurring with the showers and storms.
