The National Weather Service in Jackson has issued a freeze warning... which is in effect from 4 am to 8 am CST Friday. Strong high pressure will bring light winds and clear skies to the area tonight... allowing strong cooling and the development of freezing temperatures. Precautionary/preparedness actions... A freeze warning means sub-freezing temperatures are imminent or highly likely. These conditions will kill crops and other sensitive vegetation.
