* at 1122 am CST... National Weather Service Doppler radar indicated
slow moving thunderstorms with very heavy rainfall across the
warned area. Since 9 am... a very narrow band of thunderstorms
has produced almost 2 inches of rain from south central Cole
County... through Jefferson City... to just south of Fulton. It
appears that this narrow band of heavy rain will persist for
another hour or so... with the heaviest rains dissipating early this
afternoon.
* Runoff from this excessive rainfall will cause flash flooding to
occur. Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Fulton... Holts Summit... Jefferson City... Brazito... Hickory Hill...
Lake mykee... New Bloomfield... St. Thomas... Taos and Wardsville.
