* Through Monday morning
* a prolonged period of moderate and locally heavy rainfall is
occurring over parts of western and central Missouri and
southeast Kansas this morning into the early afternoon.
Widespread rainfall in excess of an inch has occurred northwest
of a line from Columbus Kansas to Bolivar to Tuscumbia. This
rainfall will gradually spread south and east this afternoon and
tonight. Another one to two and a half inches of rainfall will
be possible.
* Many low water crossings will be impacted by heavy rain through
midday Monday. Smaller creeks and streams may also experience
flooding. Large rivers in the Osage river basin may also
experience flooding over the next couple of days.
