Flash Flood Warning
Statement as of 9:53 AM CDT on June 03, 2015

... Flash Flood Warning remains in effect for southwestern Harrison...
southeastern Gentry... northeastern DeKalb and northwestern Daviess
counties until 1230 PM CDT...

At 951 am CDT... National Weather Service Doppler radar indicated
thunderstorms with very heavy rainfall across the warned area.
Rainfall estimates of five to seven inches have fallen across
portions of the warned area.

Runoff from this excessive rainfall will cause flash flooding to
occur. Flash flooding is expected to occur over mainly rural areas of
northeastern DeKalb... northwestern Daviess... southeastern Gentry and
southwestern Harrison counties... including the towns of McFall and
Santa Rosa.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Excessive runoff from this storm will cause flash flooding of small
creeks and streams... country roads... normally dry washes... as well
as farmland along the banks of creeks and streams.

Do not drive your vehicle into areas where the water covers the
roadway. The water depth may be too great to allow your car to cross
safely.
