... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until noon CST
Sunday...

A Winter Weather Advisory for light snow and freezing rain and drizzle
remains in effect until noon CST Sunday.

* Short term trends... moderate snow was ending across the region
while freezing rain and drizzle were occurring in some locations.

* Timing and areas affected... through tonight across portions of
extreme southeast Kansas and the Missouri Ozarks.

* Snow accumulations... only minor amounts of snow are expected
through the night.

* Ice accumulations... less than one tenth of an inch south of
Interstate 44. South central Missouri could experience amounts
around one tenth of an inch.

* Impacts... the combination of falling and accumulating snow as
well as ice will make travel conditions hazardous. The Kansas
and Missouri departments of transportation continue to report
snow covered roadways along with numerous slide offs and
accidents.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods snow and ice will
cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for slippery roads and
limited visibilities... and use caution while driving.
