Through 7 am...scattered thunderstorms over southwest Missouri will gradually continue to move and develop southeast affecting areas from Springfield up to the Lake of The Ozarks region. Stronger storms will be capable of small hail...frequent lightning...wind gusts in excess of 60 mph...and heavy rainfall with rainfall rates locally over an inch per hour. Other light showers will also continue to move into far southeast Kansas and the Joplin area.
