Light to moderate rain will continue to lift northeast across portions of the Missouri Ozarks through 6 am. The rain will affect areas east of a line from Springfield to Eldon. The heaviest rainfall will be concentrated across south central Missouri from Gainesville and West Plains north to Rolla and Salem. Additional rainfall amounts will generally be around one quarter of an inch or less...except for one half to one inch across south central Missouri.

The Department of Transportation and local law enforcement officials indicated that heavy rainfall that occur Sunday afternoon and evening was continuing to produce flooding across the warned area. One to three inches of rainfall with locally heavier amounts occurred across the area. Additional light to moderate rainfall will continue to be possible into Monday morning.
Runoff from this rain is causing flooding. Creeks... streams and low water crossings will be especially susceptible to the dangers of flooding.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding. If flooding is observed act quickly. Do not enter the water. Turn around and move up to higher ground to escape flood waters. Do not stay in areas subject to flooding when water begins rising.

*a band of moderate rain will track east through portions of southwest and south central Missouri. Total rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches will be possible east of a line from Osage Beach to Theodosia.
*Low water crossings will be impacted by moderate rain through noon Monday. Smaller creeks and streams may also experience flooding.
