... The Flood Warning remains in effect until 900 am CDT for small
streams in eastern Camden... Howell... Laclede... Maries... Miller...
Phelps... Pulaski and Texas counties...

At 120 am CDT... National Weather Service Doppler radar indicated an
area of light to moderate to rainfall across the warned area with
heavier rain spreading north from Arkansas.

Runoff from this rain will cause flooding to occur. Creeks... streams
and low water crossings will be especially susceptible to the
dangers of flooding.

This warning includes but is not limited to the following low water
crossings...

Route hh in Tuscumbia...
Route N at the Maries river east of Brinktown...
Highway 142 at the Spring River west of Lanton...
Highway 142 at the Bennetts River West of Moody...
Route o at Jones Creek just south of Dixon.

Additional rainfall amounts around one half inch can be expected
with localized amounts around one inch.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding. If flooding is observed act quickly. Do not
enter the water. Turn around and move up to higher ground to escape
flood waters. Do not stay in areas subject to flooding when water

... The Flood Warning remains in effect until 900 am CDT Saturday for
Christian... Dallas... Douglas... northeastern Greene... Polk... southern
Laclede... Webster and Wright counties...

At 1039 PM CDT... the Department of Transportation and local river
gauges indicated that heavy rainfall that occurred Saturday
afternoon and evening was producing flooding across the warned area.
Additional light to moderate rainfall will occur overnight and will
continue the risk for flooding into Saturday morning.

Runoff from this rain is causing flooding. Creeks... streams and low
water crossings will be especially susceptible to the dangers of
flooding.

This warning includes but is not limited to the following low water
crossings...

Route E north of Highway 38 at the Gasconade river...

... Flash Flood Watch remains in effect until 1 PM CDT this
afternoon...

The Flash Flood Watch continues for

* portions of central Missouri... south central Missouri and
southwest Missouri... including the following areas... in
central Missouri... Maries... Phelps and Pulaski. In south
central Missouri... Dent... Howell... Oregon... Shannon and
Texas. In southwest Missouri... Douglas... Laclede... Ozark...
Taney... Webster and Wright.

* Until 1 PM CDT this afternoon

* rain will continue across south central Missouri and the Eastern
Ozarks through the morning. Runoff from this rain will result in
additional flooding in some locations across the watch area.

* Small streams... creeks... low water crossings and area rivers
will be especially susceptible to flash flooding.

Those floating or camping on or near area rivers should be
alert for rapid rises of water levels.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation.

You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should flash flood warnings be issued.

... The Flood Advisory for heavy rain remains in effect until 1100 am
CDT Saturday for Barry... Christian... Dallas... Douglas... Greene...
Laclede... Lawrence... southern Polk... stone... Taney... Webster and
Wright counties...

At 901 PM CDT... local law enforcement officials reported that heavy
rainfall was producing minor flooding across the advisory area.
Heavy rainfall that occurred this afternoon and evening on top of
saturated ground from recent rains is causing flooding of some low
water crossings and flood prone areas. Run off from this rain will
continue through the overnight hours into Saturday morning.

Runoff from this heavy rainfall is causing minor flooding. Creeks...
streams and low water crossings will be especially susceptible to the
dangers of flooding.

This advisory includes but is not limited to the following low water
crossings...

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Do not drive your vehicle into areas where the water covers the
roadway. The water depth may be too great to allow your car to cross
safely. Move to higher ground.
