A line of thunderstorms will be moving east southeast at 25 mph across east central Kansas and west central Missouri early this morning. This line will be affecting areas from Kansas City southward through Harrisonville...Butler and toward the Clinton area. Through 430 am...some of the stronger storms will be affecting the Stanley... Belton...peculiar and Archie areas...east through Greenwood...Pleasant Hill...Garden City and Urich. The strongest storms will be producing heavy rainfall which may cause ponding of water on roadways...along with frequent lightning. Small hail may also occur.
