* At 652 PM CDT... National Weather Service Doppler radar indicated
slow moving thunderstorms with very heavy rainfall across the
warned area. Rainfall amounts of one to two inches per hour are
likely with these thunderstorms.
* Runoff from this excessive rainfall will cause flash flooding to
occur. Creeks... streams and low water crossings will be especially
susceptible to the dangers of flash flooding.

Route k at Atwell creek east 5 miles southeast of Iberia...

Additional rainfall amounts of one to two inches are likely across
the warned area through 9 PM. While some locations have not received
such significant amounts of rainfall at this time... significant
runoff from upstream locations may cause flash flooding in these
areas.
