Flood Warning
Statement as of 10:52 AM CDT on March 19, 2010
The Flood Warning continues for
the Mississippi River at Alton lock and dam 26
* until further notice.
* At 10:00 am Friday the stage was 24.0 feet.
* Flood stage is 21.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... the river will continue to fall to a stage of 23.4 feet
by Saturday morning.
* Impact... at 24.0 feet... Alta villa Road off of Highway 94 north of
West Alton begins flooding.
1052 am CDT Fri Mar 19 2010
The Flood Warning continues for
the Mississippi River at Grafton
* until further notice.
* At 10:00 am Friday the stage was 22.4 feet.
* Flood stage is 18.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... the river will continue to fall to a stage of 22.3 feet
by Saturday morning.
