Winter Weather Advisory
Issued: 2:43 AM CST Feb. 14, 2016 – National Weather Service

... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until noon CST
today...

* timing... a light wintry mix will begin to develop across the
Missouri Ozarks early this morning. This light wintry mix will
expand and move eastward across the area this morning. Freezing
drizzle... light sleet... and light snow are all expected to
develop... with the majority of the snow expected across the
Eastern Ozarks. The sleet will be more in pockets.

* Main impact... roads will become slick quickly after the light
precipitation occurs.

* Other impacts... even a light accumulation will cause hazardous
travel conditions. Check Road conditions before you travel
late tonight and Sunday morning. If the Road looks wet and the
temperature is below freezing... it might be icy. A light glaze
of ice will be possible on exposed objects and roadways. A
dusting of light sleet will be possible. A dusting of light
snow to up to an inch possible across the far Eastern Ozarks
will be possible.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of light snow...
sleet... or freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be
prepared for slippery roads and limited visibilities... and use
caution while driving.
