    The Flash Flood Watch continues for

    * portions of southeast Kansas and Missouri... including the
    following areas... in southeast Kansas... Bourbon... Cherokee and
    Crawford. In Missouri... Barry... Barton... Benton... Camden...

    * Through Wednesday evening

    * widespread rainfall amounts will range from one to three
    inches across central and southern Missouri through Wednesday.

    * The expected rainfall amounts could cause flash flooding across
    portions of extreme southeast Kansas and the Missouri Ozarks
    tonight and Wednesday. Creeks and rivers over low lying roads
    and low water crossings are most prone to flooding.

    Those camping and floating on Ozark streams should be especially
    alert for rising water levels and flooding.

    Flash flooding is the number one weather related killer across
    southeast Kansas and southern Missouri. Motorists are urged not
    to cross flooded roadways. You should monitor later forecasts and
    be prepared to take action should flash flood warnings be issued.
