... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 6 PM CST
Sunday...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow remains in effect until 6 PM CST
Sunday.

* Timing... snow has spread eastern Kansas and Missouri this morning
and will continue to spread north and east through the early
evening hours. A lull in the snow is expected late tonight
followed by another round of light snow on Sunday morning.

* Snow accumulations... another 1" to 2" inches through the early
evening hours... with another inch of snow possible Sunday morning
with the secondary band of snow. Total accumulations 3" to 6" with
the highest amounts expected from east central Kansas --south of
Kansas City-- east through central Missouri.

* Impacts... travel may be hazardous... .especially on any
untreated roadways while it is snowing.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow... sleet... or
freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
slippery roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while
driving.
