the Mississippi River at Caruthersville
* until Tuesday may 21.
* At 09 am Sunday the stage was 35.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 32.0 feet.
* At 35.0 feet... Barr Road is under two feet of water in places, and
evacuations are very difficult. Most unprotected farmland near the
river and portions of Highway 104 in western Dyer County TN are
impacted.

The Flood Advisory continues for
the Mississippi River at Tiptonville
* until Wednesday may 22.
* At 09 am Sunday the stage was 36.2 feet.
* Flood stage is 37.0 feet.
* Forecast... the river will slowly fall to near 35.9 feet Sunday may 19.
* At 36.0 feet... widespread flooding of unprotected farmland near
the river occurs

... Record high minimum temperature tied at Tupelo MS...

a record high low temperature was tied at Tupelo this morning with
70 degrees. The previous record was 70 degrees set in 1987.
