* short term trends...temperatures had dropped into the middle 30s early this morning.

* Timing and areas affected...a frost advisory is in effect until 9 am for far south central Missouri generally southeast of a Gainesville to Salem line.

* Temperature...low temperatures this morning will range from the lower to middle 30s resulting in patchy to areas of frost.

* Impacts...sensitive outdoor plants and vegetation may be damaged or killed if left unprotected or not brought indoors.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A frost advisory means that frost is possible. Sensitive outdoor plants may be killed if left uncovered.
